Pictures from the 50th anniversary

On 6 September, the Saab Car Museum invited guests to its 50th anniversary celebration. And what a party it was! Wonderful weather, lots of friendly people in high spirits and impressions for all the senses. Sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch were all catered for. Peter Bäckström was in a brilliant mood, Jonas Myrholm was both master of ceremonies and entertained with his own Saab song. And last but not least, the staff behind the counter at the museum deserve praise for being eternally cheerful and positive, even though the queue to get in seemed never-ending. Thank you, Saab Car Museum, for inviting us to this magnificent birthday party, and thank you to everyone who came and made it such a fantastic celebration. There is something very special about the Saab spirit.
Winners in the quiz
We have now announced the winners of the quiz walk. For those of you who have been pondering and perhaps discussing with friends the tiebreaker question and how many spark plugs it took to reach the same weight as the battery, we can announce that it took 148 spark plugs to reach the battery’s weight of 14.6 kg. Many people got all the questions right, but the best at guessing the number of spark plugs was Jan Rühmke from Hamburg, who guessed 131 spark plugs and was therefore the winner of the competition. Congratulations, Jan! Jan Thorström from Uddevalla also got all the questions right and took second place with his guess of 127 spark plugs. Justus Dieball from Flensburg came in a respectable third with 110 spark plugs.
